searching for Comets

These were all taken at the Bluff, around 8pm Sunday 15/01/2007. just after sunset we were supposed to be able to view a Comet but, too much light, too many clouds. Made for a good Sunset though!

Every evening, exactly on sunset the local Cockatoo's head to Euroka for the night, Have spent many a afternoon watching this migration. They head south west out of the village across national park and Glenbrook creek.

King Parrots in action

And the sunset. Great location for this as you look directly westwith nothing but Bush to the horizon

Some of my adventures 1

Second day on the Milford track walk New Zealand, look as those trout!

Milford track NZ. Cresting the pass, all down hill from here. I left the hut before sunrise and reaching the summit shortly after sunrise. Got a couple of the greatest photo's ever taken....... well. Ten minute later it clouded in and the view was lost to all and sundry (especially the slackers who slept in)

Southern Rim Grose Valley Blue Mountains NSW Australia. Gregor, (who drove a cracking pace) along Lockleys Pylon track. On our way out from a night in the Bluegum forest

Interior BC Canada, Some lake, in the middle of no where! Enroute to Black Tusk, north of Whistler. This was way up in the hills, A 7 to 800 metre climb from where track began, 10 klms maybe. No roads, just a great walk and then magic!
